The Daily Digi

If you have thought about digital scrapbooking but you don't know where to start, I have a site for you!  The Daily Digi is a site full of resources for digital scrappers. 

For beginer scrappers, there's a great FAQ section on the right side of this page.  There are so many links that cover topics like:

 What program should I use?

 How do I do my first layout?

 Using layered templates

It's not often I run across guys who scrap.  When was the last time you saw a guy actually scrapping at a crop?  That's why I thought it was so cool that Eric Erickson not only scraps, but is full of ideas and shares them on his blog Load of Scrap.

World's Largest Crop Attempt II

It's that time again!   Scrapbook Royalty is attempting to get into the Guiness Book of World Records by holding the World's Largest Crop at the CHA Craft SuperShow on Saturday, January 23.  If you will be in Southern California, you will not want to miss this fund raiser for the Kids In Need Foundation.  Kids In Need provides school supplies for kids in need nationwide.

There will be celebrities from the scrapping world, prizes, auctions and goodie bags.  And of course cropping, 13 hours of cropping.  To get more information, and to sign up visit the CHA Craft SuperShow website for additional details.

Twisted Papers

Twisted Papers is a company that offers vintage graphic images.  They are available online and by CD.  It's the perfect touch for your vintage-looking projects or for putting a cool twist on your modern works of art.

A Year in the Life of an Art Journal

If you have ever wanted to break out from scrapbooks into something a little more "artsy", this is the way to do it.  A Year in the Life of an Art Journal is a site that posts prompts twice a month that will allow you to create your own art journal.  And your journal does not have to be a traditional journal, it can be just about anything: a deck of cards, flashcards, paper taped or glued together.  The site itself is loaded with ideas and help.  You can view art journal creations here.

By signing up for prompts, they'll be delivered to your email box on the 15th and 30th.  You can sign up for the prompts here.  There is also an Ning community you can join where you can make new friends and share ideas.  And in the end, not only will have a great personal work of art, but you'll become a better scrapbooker as well.  Enjoy!
