Glitz Design

One of the really cute booths at CHA was the Glitz Design booth.  Check out this dress form for yourself.

They were doing a make and take on the dress form flowers.  So cute!  You really need to check out their blog as it is one of the better manufacturer blogs out there.   Be sure to check out the witch's hat door decoration on the right side of the blog.  A super cute fall idea (never too early to start your fall projects!)  Enjoy!

Super Cute Flower Tutorial

While doing my usual internet cruise for all links that are good and scrappy, I came across this tutorial at Simply Renee (the Clip it Up people).  It was created by Robyn Schaub, design team member for Simply Renee.

A Miniature Memento

Ree Drumond is truly a Renaissance woman for the 21st century.  At her site The Pioneer Woman, she has all sorts of information about herself, photography, cooking and more.  This post about a miniature memento though is the cutest thing I've seen that's not a baby, a puppy or a kitten.

 

It's a miniature trunk a fan made and presented to her at a stop on her book signing tour.

Look at all of the miniature goodies inside!

Load of Scrap by Eric Erickson

It's not often I run across guys who scrap.  When was the last time you saw a guy actually scrapping at a crop?  That's why I thought it was so cool that Eric Erickson not only scraps, but is full of ideas and shares them on his blog Load of Scrap.

A Year in the Life of an Art Journal

If you have ever wanted to break out from scrapbooks into something a little more "artsy", this is the way to do it.  A Year in the Life of an Art Journal is a site that posts prompts twice a month that will allow you to create your own art journal.  And your journal does not have to be a traditional journal, it can be just about anything: a deck of cards, flashcards, paper taped or glued together.  The site itself is loaded with ideas and help.  You can view art journal creations here.

By signing up for prompts, they'll be delivered to your email box on the 15th and 30th.  You can sign up for the prompts here.  There is also an Ning community you can join where you can make new friends and share ideas.  And in the end, not only will have a great personal work of art, but you'll become a better scrapbooker as well.  Enjoy!

Rusty Pickle

This is a blog that I think gets overlooked.  Rusty Pickle is a manufacturer of scrapping products that features a monthly sketch challenge where you can win cool product prizes.  They have a very talented design team (or "chefs" as they are called) plus very talented winners.  There's lots of great inspiration from their challenges.

Creative Imaginations

With so many boutique brands of scrapbooking supplies out there, we sometimes forget about the brands that have been around a long time.  Their longevity is due to consistantly offering lots of quality products.  I think Creative Imaginations would fall into that catagory.  They have lots of beautiful papers as well as products for creating altered projects and mini albums.  Here's some inspiration from the Creative Imaginations blog for beautiful and simple Christmas layouts:
