Most scrapping layouts I see in various media focuses on scrapping your most current pictures. At Write.Click.Scrapbook you'll find plenty of inspiration for your older photos. Of course these techniques can be used on your most current photos as well. Here is their lastest work, which I think is pretty cool. Imagine being able to turn old family photos that look like this
into this after image.
And transform your pictures from the 60s that look like this
into beautifully restored photos like this.
This is really handy since it can be done in either Adobe Elements or Photoshop. While you made need some patience to transform your old photos, you can see that it's well worth the time. Enjoy!

Becky Fleck, creative director at Basic Grey, has her own site devoted to layout sketches called Page Maps. You will find sketches for layouts and cards in various sizes. Need a sketch for a tag or a round page? You'll find them here. While you can purchase digital sketches or a book, there are plenty of free ones available. There is also a free monthly newsletter. I am doing the So Cal Shop Hop where you visit as many of the 37 scrapbook stores that are participating as you can between August 7-23.
