I know, I know, Tim Holtz needs another person reading his blog like a scrapper needs another piece of paper.  These are no ordinary blog posts, they are the spectacular 12 Tags of Christmas!  Starting December 1st and continuing for 12 days, Tim will have on his blog a spectacular tag along with complete instructions AND prizes!  His Christmas tags from 2007 and 2008 were not only to die for, but were a wealth of new and fun techniques to try for yourself.  Check them out!

Character Constructions

I've always admired the beautiful images in Somerset Studio.  I have inks, papers, pencils and powders.  What I needed are the stamps to create something worthy of publication.  I found the stamps made by Character Constructions are the stamps I was looking for.  These are the perfect stamps to take your rubber stamping to the next level.

I Like Markers

Scrappers are talking about Copic markers.  They don't look, cost or smell like our regular markers.  Yet they can do so much more!  It's a great way to get into using alcohol inks.  A good source to find out more information about Copic markers is to check out I like markers by Marianne Walker, product specialist for Copic.  There's lots of information, a newsletter and helpful tricks for using your markers.

You can't do that with your pens you purchased at Michaels/Joann's with your 40% off coupon can you?  Helpful hint:  when purchasing your first pens, go lighter.  You can always layer your color and make it darker.  Pretty soon you will like love your Copic markers too.  Enjoy!

Split Coast Stampers

Today I bring you a very cool website.  It addresses two things us scrappers are intersted in:

1) What do you do with your paper scraps?

2) What do you do with all of those rubber stamps you bought and don't use anymore?

At Split Coast Stampers, you'll find a huge gallery of cards.  Your bound to find ideas to make some cute cards with your crafting scraps.  There are also company galleries as well.  If you have a stamp that you want to find a card for, it will probably be in one of the company galleries.  Here's a couple of cards I found
