Christmas 2012
I really enjoyed this holiday season with my girls. It was a quiet christmas filled with family, friends and lots of love! As the year comes to an end, I reflect on it...it has been a tough, confusing journey. I try not to be bitter and be thankful instead, I cant forgive nor can I forget but I am learning to move on, discover my life, enjoy it and the people that surround me.
The best part of this holiday was seeing family that I dont see very often, including my Aunt Sharon whom we realized we have not seen each other for nearly 18 years. It hurts me to think that that much time has gone by with family, there really is no excuse for it but time gets away from us and life gets in the way. I was so incredibly happy to see her, along with my other awesome aunt Yo, my cuz Derek and my Grandmother.
We headed on over to Little Grandmas on Christmas Day....had fun with the sign on the side of the highway at her exit. Had to add a little "somethin somethin" to make it right!
Thank you to Little Grandma, Aunt Yo, Aunt Sharon, Cousin Derek, Uncle Mo and my kids for making it a wonderful Christmas! My life is about family...I have been kept from them for far too long!
The next day we traveled into Jacksonville to do some window and antique shopping..The Jacksonville Barn Company always has some incredible treasures! Look at these 1925 player piano rolls in beautiful condition for only $2 each. Uhhmmm, yeah I got a sack full!
Then there is the coffee break while window shopping...
It was a fun day doing what we love. To see more photos visit my facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/candy.rosenberg
