Recently I got to visit my mom in Glasgow, Kentucky. While there I had the pleasure to stop in on three wonderful scrapbook stores with experience true southern hospitality. I had such an incredible time meeting all the wonderful ladies that attended the classes and those that I just dropped in on!
Our first stop was at the Scrapbook Page in Barboursville, West Virginia. When I arrived the ladies were all scrappin' with Graphic45 paper and going to town cutting and pop dotting all the way! MY KIND OF GIRLS! My mom and I had so much fun hanging out and cropping at the Scrapbook Page! And thank you for my beautiful hand blown bowl that I have promptly planted in my studio and filled with vintage buttons!

Then the next morning, and 300 miles away from Glasgow, were off to The Scrapbook General Store in Flatwoods, Kentucky! Did you know that Flatwoods is the hometown of Billy Ray Cyrus? I got the cutest card that has Billy Ray all over it. I will share just as soon as I snap a pic of it and that is after all my friends get done checking it out.
The owner of The Scrapbook General Store, Winnie was a delight.
These girls were great, we cut, glued, inked, sprayed, distressed and flowered our way through a Bo Bunny "Domestic Goddess" book. Thank you girls for such a great time!
Then on Saturday, after a 5 hour trip home, our final stop and the store that started it all, Scrapbook Village in Glasgow, Kentucky. We had two classes this day, these are the girls from the first group, and let me tell you there were alot of trouble makers in this one! LOL!
In between projects we had the opportunity to get pictures with a beautiful 1929 Roadster with cutest driver, Jay. He bought this car in 1929 and has been the owner since. It was a beauty!
Here is my mom and I posing with the dapper Jay!
Now the second group of ladies they were nearly out of control and I could not keep them contained! You girls know who I am talking about! LOL!
These girls were great, we got to whiz through most of the recipe box and complete our two page layout and I just love all the wonderful creativity that was present with both groups. I always get to learn more than I teach and for that I thank you!
And last but not least, the fearless leader of Scrapbook Village, Bonnie. Thank you for everything, for taking care of my mom when I cant be there. I am truly blessed to have met you, your staff and all the wonderful ladies at the classes. I hope to be back soon, cuz I already miss you!
I have landed my feet firmly back on the ground, and am ready to get back to scrappin!
Thank you again to everyone!
