I just wanted to stop in and tell my friends and family that I love them, that I thank you for your support. I am blessed to have each of you in my life, and that you have been here for me. As in all of our lives, things change. EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON and never do I ask why, I only ask to open the door to what is in the future so I can peek in. I am fearful for the things I cannot control or change, but keeping strong in those things that I can!
I only want to live, to find peace and to let be. I deserve this in my life. Be patient with me, as time is the only way to heal and my journey is long.
Thank you to the Brave Girls Club for another day of insprining and life strengthening words:
Dear Extraordinary Girl, If a sweet little tropical bird was ever dropped off in the Arctic, it would never survive. If an Arctic penguin were dropped in the Sahara desert, it would have an awful time surviving too. A palm tree would never make it on Mt. Everest and an orange tree would simply fail at growing oranges in the Rocky Mountains. WHY THEN, beautiful girl, do we think that we could ever thrive while trying to be someone we are not? And why do we think we could be happy trying to fit into places that are destructive for us? Obviously we are incredibly resilient, but why not look for the places where we would absolutely thrive? Some of us are outgoing, some of us are shy. Some of us are strong and assertive leaders, some of us lead quietly and by example. Some of us are visionaries and some of us are detail people. Some of us want to be in the spotlight, some of us would prefer to be in the background. Some of us like to go out, some of us like to stay home. Some of us love the city, some of us need the country. IT IS ALL GOOD. We all have a place, we are all important and we are all part of everything that is good and true. So much soul-deep sorrow can come from trying to be someone that we are not. Please find where you thrive and don’t let anyone talk you into staying in places that make you miserable, sweet friend. Please don’t think you ever have to apologize for being how you are, who you are and what you are. You are a wonder, and you are SO very loved. xoxo |
With much love,
Candy
