TRASH TO TREASURE BLOG HOP
When I joined in on the Trash to Treasure challenge that the fabulous, Tina Walker had put together, I wasn't sure what I was going to make but I knew I could easily transform some kind of trash to treasure.

So one evening I asked my daughter to help me to come up with something, I had a serious creative block and just couldn't come up with something. We walked around the house, the craft room and then the shop. I spotted a paint brush, I seen people alter them before and always thought of doing one. Why not now? So we found another one and my daughter and I would both take part in this challenge.
I was still stuck when my daughter, Mariah and I sat down at the craft table. She asked if I had clay, after digging I found some air dry clay. We worked with that a bit but proved to be harder to work with then we thought so we abandoned that idea. Mariah asked if I had an Sculptey clay, again I dug and found a few small blocks of it. Mariah said we were going to make faces for our paintbrushes and that the bristles would become their hair.
Four hours, many laughs, paint, jewelry, gears, feathers, mini bottles and more, we created two very creative paintbrush people!
Painting the brush bristles preparing it to be a hat for my STEAMPUNK guy!
Baking the faces for 20 minutes.
My daughters tribal dude with lots of cool features and embellishments.
This was such a fun challenge!! Thank you for stopping by!
