Guest Design Project: Acrylic ATCs with Buttons Galore

I was asked to be a guest designer for Buttons Galore.  If you know me, you know I love, hoard and create with buttons from vintage to brand new, grungy to cute and colorful.  I love to show unique and unusual crafty ways to create with them.  So I got busy on making acrylic ATC's for this project. How fun it is to play with  acrylic cut to Artist Trading Card (ATC) size.

CHA Summer 2012 Workshop Sneak Peek! Only 3 More Weeks!

It is almost time for the Summer CHA Show in Chicago, Illinois and I am excited about teaching a full 2.5 hour workshop with such wonderful sponsors and creating an out of box, tear it down, build it up, put it on the wall CREATION!

May Arts & Graphic45 Blog Hop.....Its my turn....Steampunk Curiosity Style!

Recently my daughter and I went out on a "Steampunk" photoshoot with a local photographer.  We had an incredible time and I just had to make an album with some of the photos.  With a ton of scrumptious May Arts Ribbon and you all know how much I love Graphic 45, a Basically Bare album is born!

By the way, if you are attending the Summer CHA Trade Show in Chicago in July....you will see us in our outfits!  Be sure to stop us and say hi!!!

Look at the awesome airship on the front from Globecraft Memories and metal embellishment from Stanislaus Imports.

On the cover, the burlap ribbon that is used on the bottom has paint on top of it to bring out the dimension.  Each Graphic45 letter is backed with black cardstock (another one of those old school techniques that I still use), and could you just die with this incredible airship with gears inside!

A  cardboard and canvas collage using pen, paint and pieces of Graphic45 and May Arts ribbon! 

I am loving this new burlap ribbon from May Arts!  I made a pocket to put this photo in on this page.  I used embossing enamel from Globecraft Memories to create the antiqued gear look on the large gear!

Sharing some "official" news....

Although life has been crazy these last eight months...life changing....eye opening and all sorts of craziness, I am always blessed with wonderful great things to go along with the hard times.

My newest NEWS that I would like to share is that I am now designing and educating with Kuretake UK products!  This is a full circle moment indeed...when I first started some years ago, the first pen I owned was a ZIG pen and I still have it to this day!  I am a pen junkie, always have been so this a dream come true!

I am very excited to be working with them and look forward to creating some fun projects to inspire and teach you!  Keep an eye out!
