After an inspiring trip to Portland this last weekend, I found and stopped into Salvage Works and found some vintage metal feed scoopers. I made a couple of wall planters using the scoopers and some reclaimed wood.
These will be available in our new bigger space at ACME GARAGE in Medford, Oregon soon!
Our bigger space needs some serious Vintology magic! We will be building a wood and metal faux wall to hold all our incredible reclaimed wood signs. Keep tuned in!
It was quite an experience and I am so blessed to have had it. These are my final projects and I am so proud of what I made.
Metal Smithing has been quite an interesting new medium. It was very daunting, but I knew what I wanted to get out of it. I want to be able to create my own metal elements for my mixed media art work. The very first thing I wanted to make was a gear! DONE!.....the second challenge asked for a magnification of something...I chose a DNA STRING! DONE! and finally I wanted to make a birds nest with river rock, as our final project had to have soldering and cabachons! DONE!

Vintology has gone through many changes this year and we are finally back to our roots and where we wanted to be. Atmosphere and venue is so important to showcase our handcrafted work. We are featuring our popular hand crafted, reclaimed wood vintage signs lovingly made by our crew members, Vanessa and Mariah and some other one of kind pieces.
Come see what we are showing at Mimosa's in Grants Pass at 118 NW E Street for the whole month of August! We are so excited to be hanging out literally at one of our favorite organic food spots!
Our signs, windows and bohemian lamps are featured at MIMOSA's. Look in the window on the wall, it was a bit tricky getting it all up there but it was such fun working with the help of the awesome Mimosa crew!!!
